Are you a motivated, goal-driven professional who thrives in sales conversations and loves turning opportunities into wins? Jeff Sawyer State Farm is looking for an Account Associate who can consistently sell, close, and deliver outstanding value to our customers.
This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, confident, and hungry to grow a high-earning career in the insurance industry. You’ll engage in outbound and inbound sales, build strong relationships, and help customers make smart decisions about their coverage—all while driving agency growth.
This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). If you're not licensed yet, our agency will fully support you through the licensing process.
Role Description
As an Account Associate, you will be a key sales producer within the agency. You’ll build a strong pipeline, follow up consistently, and carry conversations that move prospects from interest to action. Your success will directly contribute to agency revenue, retention, and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Drive New Business Proactively market and sell insurance products to warm leads, referrals, and outbound prospects.
Consult & Recommend Conduct policy reviews, uncover needs, and confidently present customized coverage solutions.
Build Loyalty Strengthen relationships through follow-up, retention strategies, and exceptional service.
Support Client Operations Assist with policy changes, coverage questions, billing inquiries, and claims follow-up.
Collaborate for Sales Success Partner with agency teammates to meet—and exceed—individual and agency sales goals.
Qualifications
  • A strong sales-first mindset with the drive to meet and exceed production goals
  • Clear, persuasive communication and the ability to build instant rapport
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple leads in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in insurance, sales, or account management preferred
  • Active P&C and L&H licenses, or willingness to obtain with agency support

Compensation $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
