Jeff Sawyer State Farm is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our high-performing agency. We are looking for someone who takes pride in helping customers, solving problems, and creating an exceptional experience with every interaction.

Our ideal candidate is already fully licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health and has previous insurance industry or State Farm agency experience. However, we will consider a strong customer service professional who is willing and able to complete the required licensing.

This is an in-office position and is primarily focused on customer service, retention, relationship management, and supporting the needs of our existing customers.

Licensing Requirements

Fully licensed candidates are strongly preferred.

  • Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses preferred.

  • If not currently licensed, Property & Casualty licensing must be successfully completed prior to your Day 1 start date.

  • Life & Health licensing will be required within an established timeframe after starting.

  • We provide guidance and support throughout the licensing process.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for existing customers.

  • Assist with policy questions, billing inquiries, policy changes, renewals, and account updates.

  • Help customers understand their coverage and available options.

  • Provide professional support during claims-related questions and follow-up.

  • Proactively follow up with customers regarding outstanding account needs.

  • Conduct policy reviews and help identify potential coverage gaps.

  • Build strong customer relationships that support retention and referrals.

  • Identify appropriate opportunities to discuss additional products or coverage.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and account activity.

  • Collaborate with the agency team to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

Our preferred candidate brings

  • Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses.

  • Previous State Farm agency experience.

  • Previous insurance industry experience.

  • Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to handle customer concerns with patience, professionalism, and confidence.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple customer needs and responsibilities.

  • Comfortable having needs-based conversations that may lead to additional coverage opportunities.

Candidates without current insurance licenses must be committed to successfully completing the licensing requirements outlined above.

Compensation $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
