Are you a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people—but also wants the opportunity to earn more through proactive conversations and in-book sales? The Sawyer Agency is seeking a Customer Relations Representative who can deliver excellent service while confidently identifying opportunities to enhance customer coverage and agency growth.
This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health). Candidates not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain their licenses with full agency support.
Role Overview
As a Customer Relations Representative, you will be a trusted resource for clients—resolving inquiries, supporting policy needs, and ensuring positive interactions. In addition, you’ll be encouraged to identify opportunities within our existing customer base to recommend additional products that provide greater protection and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve Customer Inquiries – Provide prompt and accurate responses while maintaining a professional and positive tone
- Support Client Retention – Build loyalty through relationship management and proactive service
- Identify Sales Opportunities – Recognize client needs and offer relevant insurance solutions from in-book accounts
- Maintain Accurate Records – Update customer information and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate With Team – Work closely with agency staff to deliver a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure
- Customer service or client-facing experience preferred
- Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support)
- Service-oriented mindset with the confidence to pivot into sales when opportunities arise

Compensation $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
